Truely unscented

We love this stuff. It really is unscented - as somebody sensitive to scents I really appreciate that. My husband tried this on his beard and thinks it's pleasant. It does absorb well and makes the hair and skin feel soft and healthy. He also thinks the spray (as opposed to a lotion, gel of drop oil) is nice because it spreads the product better and has less concentrated areas. Doesn't take much either, so this bottle will last, making it a great value.

Finally, something that actually helps with beard flakes

I’ve tried oils and balms that left my beard greasy or still flaky, but this one really works. It soaks in fast, feels lightweight, and calms the itchy, dry skin under my beard without adding shine or scent. After using it for a bit, I noticed way fewer flakes on my shirts — huge confidence boost. Simple, unscented, and actually does what it promises.

Easy to use coconut oil

Simple ingredient and easy application and I've stolen it a few times for quick scalp application as well. A little goes a long way - its straight oil after all!

Leaves beard hair a bit oily and has a lingering chemical-like scent

This beard oil does soften your beard and help to relieve the dry, flaky skin underneath but it's a little too oily. You have to use very, very little of it and even when you do, it leaves your beard hair feeling somewhat oily for hours after. It also has a lingering chemical scent to it. You don't notice the smell much at first but then you realize it as the day goes on because you'll repeatedly keep getting a whiff of the chemical smell for hours after you use it and that gets very annoying especially since you are left wondering if other people around you can smell it too. So it does seem to work as far as moisturizing your underbeard skin and stopping flakes but the oily residue and chemical aroma make it a little hard to keep using it. I will mention that I am very sensitive to smells though so maybe it won't bother others as much.

Treats and prevents beard skin irritation.

This product arrived just in time to treat some redness and flaky irritation of the skin under my husband’s beard. It gave some instant relief. The redness was calmed and he felt better right away. By day three the skin was back to normal. Comes in a large (250ml) spray bottle but his beard is thick and somewhat long so we found it easiest to spritz his fingertips and work it into the skin at the roots. It’s not heavy feeling and it doesn’t leave his beard looking greasy. It has no scent and makes the hairs feel pretty soft. Excellent quality and works as described.

This works well but the smells off putting.

This is a beard repair oil for the skin. This is meant to help chafing of the beard. This comes in a 250 ML bottle. This bottle has a spray pump top. This came lathered in oil as it had leaked all over the bottle, my desk, and anything this touches and Im not a big fan of that at all. This is easy to apply with the spray top. It makes the beard very oily that lasts a long time afterward and Im not a big fan of that. It does soften the hair and makes them more pliable. This says it does not have any smell but to me it smells like vinegar and I really dont like the smell of vinegar and this smell does not go away. The function on this is awesome as it helps with chafing under the beard and that is kinda a big deal but I wish it had a better smell like musky or something similar not vinegar. This is made from fractionated coconut oil and thats it. Fractionated coconut oil is often a carrier of essential oils so one could potentially scent this yourself. The value on this is decent. This is a lot of oil here and a little goes a long way making this last a long time and giving this a good value for the cost at the time of this review and in my opinion.Overall, This oil is does not absorb very well but works really well for what its made for. This has a smell that is offensive to some but the product does what it is susposto. I would say for the price it is worth the try to make up your own mind.

moisturizing

I got this for itchy, flaky beard. It is just coconut oil. It does help moisturize the skin under my beard. I don't like getting it all over the beard though. I spray into my palm and them use my fingertips to apply on the skin underneath. I also try to apply from the neck up, on the underside of the beard. I find that reduces the oiliness on the actual beard. It has no real scent. The photo in the listing is a bit misleading. i thought it was for three bottles, but it is only one.

Skin soothing and lightweight with no residue

This really is lightweight yet hydrating at the same time. It is made of 100% organic coconut oil so it’s surprising it’s not greasy - but it’s not. It really absorbs into the beard well and if your beard isn’t too long you can massage it into the skin under your beard for much needed moisturizing. It is listed as unscented but it would be nice to have just a hint of a scent as that’s what I typically prefer in a beard treatment. But, this is a nice product that makes the beard look and feel good, keeps it manageable, and doesn’t leave any residue. It is priced about average for this size and this type of product so it is a fair value.

Lightweight hydration that actually helps beard dandruff

I picked up this Gravitas Overhaul spray to deal with beard dandruff and dry, itchy skin under my beard, and it works better than I expected. The formula is based on fractionated coconut oil (not heavy raw coconut oil), so it’s very lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. After washing and drying my face, I spray it onto my beard and work it down to the skin underneath. Within a week, the dryness and flaking improved noticeably, and my beard feels softer. I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free, organic, sulfate- and paraben-free, so it hasn’t caused irritation or breakouts even on my combination skin. The bottle itself feels durable with a solid pump that dispenses evenly without leaking, and the quality of the product is consistent from start to finish. If your beard dandruff is from dry skin rather than something else, this is an easy, no-fuss way to moisturize. Big bonus: it’s non-greasy and doesn’t leave a shine. Highly recommend for anyone struggling with beard itch or flakes.

Relief for flaky beards!

This Beard Druff Repair works wonders. It’s unscented, non-greasy, and absorbs fast—no more flaky skin or itchiness under my son’s beard. His beard feels softer and looks healthier after just a few uses. If you struggle with beard flakes, this is the product to try!

It’s just alright.

This oil works well enough to moisturize your skin and reduce dandruff flakes. But the down side for me are that while unscented it still smells of oil, so it’s not scent free. It’s a big bottle and the pump is an odd way of distribution, and doesn’t help to make the application any easier when you have a long beard and want to massage it onerous skin with your fingertips. It does stay on all day long and my beard is soft, but still oily.

A bit oily for me

It feels a bit too oily on the skin and seems like it leaves a bit more of a sheen than I'd like on it. On the plus side, it does smell nice though. Not too heavy on the skin and seems to last a while while making the beard and skin feel and look more youthful and healthy. Pretty durable if you ask me too for what it's worth.

Good quantity at a good price for a straightforward beard product

The Gravitas beard druff is a simple product that works well but doesn’t really stand out. Which might be the point. My beard is generally in the 3-4” range and I’ve used a LOT of different oils, balms, and butters. Gravitas stands out because it is very simple. The only ingredient is coconut oil. This is often used as a carrier oil for fragrance and appears in many beard oils, but here it is unaltered.I find three or four sprays are plenty for working into my facial fields before using a heat comb to tidy it up. There really is no scent and nothing to aggravate the skin unless you have a coconut allergy. At the rate I use it this should last me six or so months if I only use this. And there’s the thing. If you want a good product that a low price this might be just what you’re after. I like a bit of variety so I’ll keep this in rotation with my scented oils.Made in the USA.

Good beard overhaul/skin conditioner for beard and skin w/ caveats.

Good beard overhaul/skin conditioner for beard and skin. It's made of organic Fractionated Coconut Oil. A little does go a long way. It does keep my skin irritation down and beard soft... however, after reading the ingredients it's organic fractionated Coconut oil. Based upon the volume you receive for this product of 250 ml, 8.45 fluid oz, there are better values out there for the same product. The only difference is that you don't get a spray pump.

Smells nice, isn't to heavy weight, great for summer.

My husbands skin under his beard is always dry. He always has issues with keeping it moisturized and no flaking all over dark shirts. This is light weight and won't stain clothing if it gets on it. We have noticed a little bit goes a long way, and with in a couple of weeks of using it, this has cut down on beard flakes A LOT! Would get again, and for the cost you can't go wrong.

Works well, not a fan of the spray bottle

Nice beard conditioner. I've used it for a few weeks to see how it compares to my usual beard oil. Firstly, the scent is quite light which I prefer since I use cologne as well. I don't need a heavy woodsy or musky scent on my beard, so the light subtle scent is great.Applied to wet beard and worked in, it leaves a light oily layer that's a little annoying at first but does absorb in and is much less noticeable after about 20-30 minutes. After my beard is soft and pliable. This seems to linger throughout the day. So for conditioning my beard and skin it's a great all day product. What I don't like is the spray head. It's hard to control where it's going and in order to get even application you need to work it through with your fingers anyway. I prefer a more solid product that can be directly applied by finger/comb and worked in, avoiding the skin around my beard.A few reviewed also noted it leaving their beard feeling sticky. I didn't notice this, though there is certainly an oily feel initially but this goes away after it fully absorbs into your facial hair.

Simple Oil, Great for Post-Shower Use — But the Bottle Needs a Redesign

Pros:No-Nonsense Formula: This is basically a straightforward coconut oil spray—lightweight, non-greasy (when used correctly), and unscented, which I appreciate.Effective on Damp Beard: Works best right after a hot shower, especially if your beard is still damp. I keep my beard trimmed (2–3 clipper on the sides, 4 on the chin), and one or two sprays are plenty. Helps cut down on dry patches and flaking, especially around areas prone to razor bumps. The key is rubbing the oil around so you do not need extra pumps.Good Volume: You get a generous amount of product for the price. No need to ration it.Bonus Use — Great Pre-Shave Oil: One tip I’ve found useful—this doubles really well as a preshave oil. Spray it on after a hot shower, let it soak in a bit, then layer your shave gel or foam on top. You get better glide, fewer nicks, and less irritation.Cons:Bottle Design: The bottle is slippery, especially when your hands are even slightly wet or oily. I’ve dropped it more than once. A textured grip or ergonomic redesign would make a huge difference.Potential for Razor Bumps: I did notice some bumps forming around the time I started using this. Can’t say for sure if this was the cause, but it’s something I’m keeping an eye on. Could depend on skin type or how it's applied. It’s a useful product if you know how to use it, but it’s not a cure-all. Great for daily grooming and as a preshave prep—but please, change the bottle design.

Works fine, needs better application method

My husband definitely needed this for his poor chin. During the dryer winter months, his skin gets really dry and uncomfortable under his beard so he's tried a lot of different moisturizers. This one is just coconut oil, which, ok I guess that's fine but I was hoping for more ingredients for the price point. Regardless he used it consistently for two weeks and did notice improvement. The spray application is definitely not the best for this product. A dropper would be much better. Very oily (it's oil, duh) but it works. Overall it's a very average product and for the price you can find other options with more benefits and less hassle.

Good for those with senstive skin.

I have issues with dry skin after shaving or trimming my beard. This helped prevent that issue. Smell was great and left my skin and beard soft. Every Effective Product.

Leaves beard soft, but application is a bit tricky

My husband tried this on his beard to see how it would affect dryness and dandruff. He liked the scent, which is light and not overpowering. At first, the product felt oily, so we couldn’t do much immediately after applying it. Eventually, the beard felt soft, hydrated, and stayed that way throughout the day.Since it’s a spray, he had to spray it onto his fingertips and then rub it into the beard, which was a little awkward. A dropper-style bottle might have made application easier.Pros: softens beard, controls dryness, pleasant scent, long-lastingCons: oily at first, spray application is trickyOverall, it works well for softening and moisturizing the beard, though the application method could be improved.

Effective, Non-Greasy Beard Care – Say Goodbye to Flakes

Review:Gravitas Overhaul Beard Druff Repair is a game-changer for maintaining a healthy beard. The unscented formula soothes flaky, irritated skin under the beard while reducing visible beard flakes. Unlike some oils, it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, making it comfortable for all-day wear. After consistent use, my beard feels softer, the underlying skin feels calmer, and the flaking has noticeably decreased. The 250mL bottle provides plenty of product, and the non-scented formula makes it versatile for daily grooming without clashing with colognes or other products. This is an excellent solution for men struggling with beard dryness or dandruff.Pros:Soothes skin and reduces beard flakesNon-greasy, fast-absorbing formulaUnscented, versatile for daily useLarge 250mL bottle for long-term useCons:Only suitable for men with beard flakes, not general dandruff treatmentUnscented may be less appealing for those who prefer fragrance
